ATEX Healthcare Hospice is seeking individuals to serve as compassionate friend, offering emotional support, companionship and a listening ear to patients during their final journey. In this role, the volunteer creates a comforting presence, whether by sharing stories, listening to memories, holding a hand or simply sitting quietly. It is not about providing medical care but about being a source of kindness, connection, and understanding, bringing moments of joy and peace to the patient and their loved ones. This meaningful bond will enrich the lives of the volunteer and the patient.
Private Group Details:
- Group Size Range: 1 - 10
- Event can be held at a volunteer group location (e.g. office, park)
- Event can be held at organization location(s)
- No Donation
