    Descrição

The Non-Profit Outreach Lead is a strategic role focused on expanding our impact by building deep, lasting relationships with the non-profit community. The primary goal is to establish formal referral pipelines to ensure a steady stream of high-quality project submissions to our Trail of Mastery and to identify organizations that would benefit from our specialized technical services.

    Responsibilities

    • Strategic Prospecting: Identify and research non-profit organizations whose missions align with our technical capabilities and the Trail of Mastery’s focus areas.
    • Relationship Management: Initiate and nurture relationships with key decision-makers (Executive Directors, Program Managers) within the non-profit sector.
    • Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a formal referral pipeline to secure project commitments for our programs and services.
    • Project Advocacy: Clearly communicate the Trail of Mastery's value proposition to encourage organizations to submit their technical projects.
    • Service Promotion: Educate non-profits on our technical service offerings and facilitate the transition from initial outreach to formal contracting.
    • Reporting: Track outreach activities, partnership progress, and conversion rates to provide regular updates on pipeline health.

    Time Commitment

    • 10–15 hours per week (flexible).
    • Schedule: Primarily during standard business hours to facilitate meetings with non-profit partners, with occasional evening availability for networking events.
    • Duration: A minimum commitment of 12 months is preferred to effectively establish and transition pipelines.

    Benefits

    • Professional Growth: Gain leadership experience in business development and strategic partnership management.
    • Networking: Build a robust professional network within the regional and national non-profit ecosystem.
    • Portfolio Impact: Play a pivotal role in the success of the Trail of Mastery by sourcing the very projects that define its impact.
    • Flexible Work: Enjoy a high degree of autonomy and the ability to work remotely.
    • Contribution: Direct satisfaction from helping non-profits leverage technical services to better serve their communities.

    Qualifications

    • Experience: Proven track record in outreach, community engagement, sales, or partnership management, preferably within the non-profit or technology sectors.
    • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
    • Networking: Strong networking abilities and a natural comfort with "cold" outreach and relationship building.
    • Self-Starter: Highly organized and able to work independently to manage multiple leads and follow-up schedules.
    • Mission-Driven: A genuine passion for the intersection of technology and social impact.
