Volunteer Math teacher for Spanish-Language GED Classes

CREA is seeking a passionate volunteer Math Instructor to support adult Spanish-speaking students preparing for their GED. Classes are conducted entirely in Spanish, so fluency in Spanish is required. This is an opportunity to make a real impact by helping students strengthen their math skills and achieve their educational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Teach math concepts aligned with the GED curriculum in Spanish
- Prepare lesson plans
- Support students in understanding and applying math skills
- Encourage student engagement and confidence in learning
- Collaborate with CREA staff to track student progress
Qualifications:
- Fluency in Spanish (spoken and written)
- Currently enrolled in college or a college graduate
- Willingness to help and support the community
- Highly responsible and reliable
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude toward adult learners
Time Commitment:
- Once a week
- Minimum commitment of one semester
