Director of Fundraising

Chicago Street Medicine is looking for an individual to fill the position of Director of Fundraising. The Fundraising Director serves as the lead for CSM’s direct-to-donor fundraising strategy, overseeing individual donor outreach, including our End of Year Giving campaign and Alumni Outreach network. The Director also Chairs the Fundraising Committee, with representatives from each Chapter, and collaborates closely with the Treasurer, President, Vice President of Operations, Director of Grant Oversight, Director of Public Relations and chapter presidents and treasurers.

Responsibilities include planning and executing fundraising campaigns for the non-profit; supporting the Chapters through organization-wide campaigns as well as individual Chapter initiatives; sending thank you notes to individual donors to increase donor connections to CSM; and sending an annual tax summary to all donors, including the CSM Annual Report.

Responsibilities also include leading Chapters in soliciting Alumni contact information; maintaining the Alumni database; and supporting the Chapters through an annual Alumni fundraising campaign.

Ideal candidates will have prior experience in fundraising. This role requires active participation in organizational development, attendance at board meetings as often as monthly, and a willingness to help build systems and projects from the ground up.

This position would start in June 2026 ideally with a two year term but this can be flexible.
