South Project is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering young moms through mentorship, resources, and community support. We’re looking for a volunteer fundraising coordinator to help generate funds through new and existing channels so we can reach more women who need us.
What You'll Do:
- Research and identify potential philanthropic grants that align with South Project’s mission and values.
- Build and maintain a list of potential grants and track key information (e.g., eligibility requirements, deadlines, application processes).
- Assist with the preparation of grant applications, and letters of inquiry for relevant opportunities.
- Maintain records of outreach efforts, grant applications, and partnerships, ensuring all communications are documented.
- Collaborate with the fundraising and development teams to ensure alignment with overall financial goals and strategies.
Time Commitment:
- Flexible, remote role
- Estimated 3-5 hours per week
What we're looking for:
- Self-motivated and independent, with a strong ability to work proactively.
- Experience with nonprofit fundraising or partnership development is a plus.
- Collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
- A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn.
