    Description

South Project is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering young moms through mentorship, resources, and community support. We’re looking for a volunteer fundraising coordinator to help generate funds through new and existing channels so we can reach more women who need us.

    What You'll Do:

    • Research and identify potential philanthropic grants that align with South Project’s mission and values.
    • Build and maintain a list of potential grants and track key information (e.g., eligibility requirements, deadlines, application processes).
    • Assist with the preparation of grant applications, and letters of inquiry for relevant opportunities.
    • Maintain records of outreach efforts, grant applications, and partnerships, ensuring all communications are documented.
    • Collaborate with the fundraising and development teams to ensure alignment with overall financial goals and strategies.

    Time Commitment:

    • Flexible, remote role
    • Estimated 3-5 hours per week

    What we're looking for:

    • Self-motivated and independent, with a strong ability to work proactively.
    • Experience with nonprofit fundraising or partnership development is a plus.
    • Collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
    • A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn.

    Why Volunteer With Us?

By helping us keep our website fresh and engaging, you’ll play a direct role in ensuring young moms have access to mentorship, resources, and opportunities to thrive. You’ll be part of a mission-driven team that values creativity, collaboration, and community impact.
