Position Summary
Hearth’s Outreach Program seeks to reach individuals aged 50 or older who are currently living on Boston’s streets, in homeless shelters, or who are at risk of homelessness. Our Outreach and Prevention teams work across Greater Boston to prevent eviction filings, preserve tenancies, and connect older adults with the services needed to remain safely housed.
Hearth is seeking up to 3 volunteers to assist with the annual Outreach Client Satisfaction Survey in May and June 2026.
The Hearth Outreach Client Survey represents a groundbreaking initiative to systematically capture and integrate client voices into the design and evaluation of Hearth's outreach and case management services. This comprehensive assessment serves as the organization's formal client satisfaction survey, measuring service quality and client outcomes across all program areas.
Volunteers can assist in up to 3 unique roles:
Full Volunteer Description
Hearth is seeking a up to 3 Volunteers to facilitate the preparation, execution, and data entry of the Hearth Outreach Client Survey. The expected commitment is up to 1 week per activity. Volunteers can support 1 or all 3 activities depending on interest and availability (see below).

Expected Commitment: up to 1 week per activity (~2-4 hours per day over the span of a week)
