SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR

Legacy Paws Rescue is a veteran-owned 501(c)(3) dog rescue and sanctuary in Catawba, NC, and we are looking for one Social Media Coordinator to help us build a presence that matches our mission.

Responsibilities include creating and scheduling content across Facebook and Instagram, writing captions and calls to action for individual dog stories, building a content calendar, growing our audience, and increasing post reach and engagement to drive adoptions, fosters, and donations. We will provide all photos, videos, dog bios, and behind the scenes material quickly and without making you chase us down. The ideal volunteer has experience managing social media accounts, understands how to grow an audience organically, and is comfortable working remotely and independently with minimal supervision. Experience with animal rescue, nonprofits, or cause-driven content is a plus but not required. We are looking for someone who can commit to a consistent schedule — even a few hours per week would make an enormous difference for the animals depending on us to be seen.
