Volunteer Coordinator - Build Community. Drive Impact.

Our volunteers are the heart of everything we do - and we’re looking for a Volunteer Coordinator to join our team and help keep that heart beating strong.

This isn’t just an admin role. As part of the Health Matters Clinic team, you’ll work closely with staff and committee members to welcome new volunteers, guide them through training, and make sure they’re set up to succeed. You’ll also help us stay organized behind the scenes so our events, outreach, and clinics run smoothly.

Your role on the team:

• Partner with our Education & Training Committee to lead onboarding and orientations
• Support event staffing and scheduling in collaboration with program leads
• Track volunteer hours and maintain records in our Cervis system
• Keep communications flowing (emails, reminders, updates, thank-yous)
• Help recognize and celebrate the impact of our volunteer community

What we’re looking for:

• A true people person with excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and comfort juggling multiple priorities
• Passion for health equity and empowering others
• Familiarity with email, spreadsheets, and basic tools (training provided)
• Ability to commit 3-6 hours per week on a consistent basis
