Society of Champions Outreach is looking for enthusiastic and dependable volunteers to support our Youth Enrichment & Skills Program for ages 4–18. Volunteers will help create a fun, safe, and positive environment where youth can learn, develop new skills, and build confidence.
Responsibilities
- Assist with homework, tutoring, and reading
- Help with activities such as STEM, culinary, arts & crafts, sports, gaming, media, and life skills
- Engage and encourage youth during activities
- Assist with meals, check-in, and program setup
- Serve as a positive role model
- Follow program safety and confidentiality guidelines
Qualifications
- Enjoy working with children and teens
- Dependable, patient, positive, and professional
- Able to work well with youth and other volunteers
- Willing to follow program policies and staff direction
- Previous experience with youth is helpful, but not required
College students, retired educators, professionals, community members, and individuals seeking volunteer/community service hours are encouraged to apply.
