Vet Care Case Manager - City Dogs and City Kitties Rescue

This is a remote position! Volunteers will be responsible for responding to new health forms/cases as they arrive in the VetCare inbox for cats. You’ll be corresponding with fosters/trial adopters and helping them triage various health issues. If a cat needs to go to the vet, case managers help send records and correspond with clinics. This role is a little more involved and time-consuming, as you’ll need to stay up to date and respond to fosters in a timely manner. You will need to have access to GChat and email throughout the day in order to perform admin tasks daily. Case managers work on each case until symptoms resolve or the cat is adopted. Experience, knowledge, and desire to learn more about animal care is required. Expect to spend between 10-20 hours a week.
