This is a remote position! Volunteers will be responsible for responding to new health forms/cases as they arrive in the VetCare inbox for cats. You'll be corresponding with fosters/trial adopters and helping them triage various health issues. If a cat needs to go to the vet, case managers help send records and correspond with clinics. This role is a little more involved and time-consuming, as you'll need to stay up to date and respond to fosters in a timely manner. You will need to have access to GChat and email throughout the day. You will need to check email daily and perform admin task for the position on a daily basis. Case managers work on each case until symptoms resolve or the cat is adopted. Knowledge on common cat vet care is preferred but not required. A willingness to learn is required;) The time on this would be between 10-20 hours a week.
