Title: Furniture Movers - Distribution

Summary: Assist clients, donors, and other volunteers with moving furniture and other items into moving trucks.

Responsibilities:

Load and unload vehicles.
Inspect items for health and safety issues (e.g., stains, rips, broken or missing parts, mold, infestations, etc...).
Move items to appropriate locations
Display items carefully and neatly keeping aisles clear.
Assemble items or label separate parts clearly.
Take trash/recycling to appropriate dumpster
Pack tightly.
Keep all client and donor information confidential.
Work safely:
- Utilize safety equipment (gloves, safety glasses, hand trucks, etc.)
- Ask for help when needed
- Know your own limitations.
