Descrição
We here at Hartford Healthcare at Home Greater Manchester Region are looking for people to volunteer that represent our Values of Teamwork, Respect, Communication, and Caring. We are a Hometown based hospice providing local service to over 13 local towns including Vernon, Manchester, Bolton, Andover, Columbia, Coventry, Tolland, Stafford, Ellington, East Windsor, Somers, Enfield, and Suffield. A Hospice Patient Visitor Volunteer visits patients who are one Hospice. The visits range from:
- Sitting by the bedside chatting with the patient about their life
- Providing respite for the caregiver so they may run errands or take a break.
- Reading to the patient
- Provide companionship
- Play games with the patient
- Provide support to the family
- and many more
