Hospice Patient Visitor Volunteer

We here at Hartford Healthcare at Home Greater Manchester Region are looking for people to volunteer that represent our Values of Teamwork, Respect, Communication, and Caring. We are a Hometown based hospice providing local service to over 13 local towns including Vernon, Manchester, Bolton, Andover, Columbia, Coventry, Tolland, Stafford, Ellington, East Windsor, Somers, Enfield, and Suffield. A Hospice Patient Visitor Volunteer visits patients who are one Hospice. The visits range from:

• Sitting by the bedside chatting with the patient about their life
• Providing respite for the caregiver so they may run errands or take a break.
• Reading to the patient
• Provide companionship
• Play games with the patient
• Provide support to the family
• and many more
