Job Description:

Scent with Love Pittsburgh is seeking a dedicated and experienced Financial Advisor to join our Board of Directors. As a member of the board, you will play a crucial role in shaping the financial future of our organization, ensuring our continued growth and impact in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

Budgeting and Financial Planning:

• Assist in developing the organization's annual budget, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and priorities.
• Provide input on revenue projections, expense allocations, and financial targets to drive financial sustainability and growth.

Fundraising and Revenue Generation:

• Utilize your expertise in donor relations, grant applications, and other fundraising activities to support the organization's financial sustainability.
• Identify new opportunities for revenue generation and strategic partnerships to expand our funding sources.

Strategic Planning:

• Participate actively in strategic planning discussions, integrating financial considerations into the organization's long-term goals and decision-making processes.
• Provide insights and recommendations to the board on financial strategies that support our mission and vision.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in financial advisory roles, preferably in the non-profit sector.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, financial planning, and strategic financial management.
• Demonstrated success in fundraising and revenue generation through donor relations, grant writing, or other means.
• Commitment to the mission and values of Scent with Love Pittsburgh.
