Be a classroom hero! Volunteer with Science is Elementary today.

Have you been looking for a way to support early elementary teachers and students? Consider volunteering with Science is Elementary (SiE).

We are looking for adults with a background in science, engineering, or education who are interested in volunteering just two hours a month. Science is Elementary provides all lesson plans, materials, and training. This year we are working with transitional kindergarten and kindergarten classrooms at public schools in Milpitas.

SiE brings engaging science lessons to under-served classrooms once a month. Volunteers work with small groups of students to go through fun, hands-on experiments. You'll learn, you'll experience joy, and you'll make a difference in the lives of some amazing students.
