Be a classroom hero! Volunteer with Science is Elementary today.

Have you been looking for a way to support early elementary teachers and students? Consider volunteering with Science is Elementary (SiE).

We are looking for adults with a background in science, engineering, or education who are interested in volunteering just two hours a month. Science is Elementary provides all lesson plans, materials, and training. This year we are working with transitional kindergarten - 3rd grade classrooms at public schools in Milpitas.

SiE brings engaging science lessons to under-served classrooms once a month. Volunteers work with small groups of students to go through fun, hands-on experiments. You'll learn, you'll experience joy, and you'll make a difference in the lives of some amazing students.
