FIRE STEM is looking for passionate volunteers to coach and mentor student teams in exciting STEM competitions! Whether you have a tech background or just love working with youth, your time and skills can help empower the next generation of STEM leaders.
Coaching Teams Include:
- FIRE Rockets Challenge
- MathCounts & NSBE Try-Math-A-Lon
- Medical Technology Software Engineering (MTSE)
- VEX Robotics (IQ & V5)
- Ten80 Racing Challenge
Volunteer Roles:
- Lead Coach or Mentor
- Assistant Coach
- Coaching Admin (attendance, logistics, communication)
Qualities We’re Looking For:
- Passion for youth & STEM
- Team player and positive role model
- No experience required—we’ll train you!
- Complete a background check
