Position Title: Tech Automation & Info‑Security Volunteer
Reports To: Executive Director
Location: Remote (U.S.-based, open to any time zone)
Time Commitment: 5–10 hrs per month (minimum 2 months) – flexible schedule
What We Need
We’re looking for a tech‑savvy volunteer who can:
Who You Are
Technical proficiency: Comfortable with APIs, scripting, and/or low‑code automation tools. Prior experience with Zapier or similar is a plus.
Security‑mindset: Understanding of basic information‑security principles (confidentiality, integrity, availability) and data‑privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA‑like contexts for donors).
Problem‑solver: Able to troubleshoot errors, debug scripts, and iterate on processes.
Collaborator: Communicates clearly with a small team (fully remote). Comfortable using Slack, Google Workspace, and email to coordinate work.
Passion: Values nonprofit mission and is motivated to help amplify impact through better tech hygiene.
Availability: At least 5 hrs per month. Can commit for a minimum of 2 months.
