What This Position Is For
Bedrock Health Group is seeking a Salesforce Administrator (Volunteer) to support the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of our Salesforce environment. This opportunity is designed for individuals with hands-on Salesforce experience or strong foundational knowledge who want to contribute to a healthcare-forward mission while building practical system administration experience within a regulated nonprofit environment.

Position Summary
The Salesforce Administrator will support the setup, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of Bedrock's Salesforce environment. This includes building and refining workflows, managing objects and fields, supporting user setup, and helping ensure that our Salesforce instance is organized, functional, and aligned with organizational needs.
This role is centered on internal systems and does not involve direct client, patient, or provider-facing responsibilities, nor access to protected or personally identifiable information.
This position is ideal for someone who wants to deepen their Salesforce administration experience, work toward Salesforce certification, or apply existing skills in a meaningful healthcare nonprofit setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the configuration, customization, and maintenance of Bedrock's Salesforce environment
- Build and refine workflows, process automations, fields, objects, and page layouts
- Assist with user setup, role management, and permission configuration
- Help develop and maintain reports and dashboards to support internal tracking and decision-making
- Support data organization, cleanup, and integrity efforts within Salesforce
- Assist with documenting system configurations, processes, and administrative workflows
- Help identify opportunities to improve system efficiency, usability, and alignment with organizational needs
- Support the onboarding and orientation of internal users to Salesforce tools and features
- Contribute to special projects tied to Bedrock's systems development and long-term operational strategy
- Assist with preparing system updates, documentation, and status briefs for leadership review

Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 3–4 years of hands-on Salesforce experience at a mid to advanced level
- Demonstrated ability to independently configure and manage a Salesforce environment
- Ability to configure Salesforce objects, fields, workflows, and basic automations
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage system records and configurations accurately
- Ability to work independently, follow direction, and communicate clearly about technical work
- Interest in CRM systems, database management, or nonprofit technology operations
Preferred
- Salesforce Administrator certification or active pursuit of certification
- Experience with Salesforce for Nonprofits (NPSP) or Salesforce Health Cloud
- Familiarity with Flow Builder, Process Builder, or other Salesforce automation tools
- Experience building reports, dashboards, and data views within Salesforce
- Current working professional, graduate student, or recent graduate with relevant experience
- Coursework or background in information systems, computer science, business, healthcare administration, public health, or related fields
- Experience with data hygiene, CRM migration, or system documentation
- Interest in healthcare operations, nonprofit technology, or mission-driven systems development
Time Commitment
- Flexible volunteer schedule with a minimum of 3–5 hours per week based on project needs and candidate availability
