Volunteer Interview Specialist (Virtual)

You’ll be the first real human touchpoint for new volunteers. Interview applicants, assess fit, and help bring in dedicated people who match our mission and culture.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Conduct phone or video interviews with applicants
• Evaluate candidate fit and values alignment
• Collect and track interview notes and feedback
• Recommend final decisions to the Director
• Coordinate follow-up communications with applicants

Minimum Required Skills/Competencies:

• Confident and professional communication
• Active listening and note-taking skills
• Ability to assess people and build rapport quickly
• Organized and detail-focused
• Comfortable using scheduling and tracking tools
