Position Summary
ICT is seeking compassionate and organized Volunteer Case Managers to support individuals impacted by spiritual abuse, trauma, and post-traumatic stress. Volunteers will help coordinate care, provide guidance, and connect survivors with appropriate support services in a safe, respectful, and trauma-informed manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial intake conversations and gather client needs
- Provide ongoing case follow-up and support
- Connect clients with counseling, pastoral care, and community resources
- Maintain confidential case notes and documentation
- Support referral coordination for retreats, support groups, and recovery programs
- Communicate professionally and empathetically with survivors
- Work with ICT leadership and counseling partners as needed
Qualifications
- Background in social work, counseling, psychology, ministry, nursing, or related helping fields (preferred)
- Understanding of trauma, PTSD, and spiritual abuse (training accepted)
- Strong listening, communication, and organizational skills
- Commitment to confidentiality and ethical boundaries
- Compassionate, non-judgmental, and faith-sensitive approach
- Ability to work independently and virtually
Preferred
- Experience in case management, crisis support, or victim advocacy
- Trauma-informed care training
- Bilingual skills a plus
