Volunteer case managers

Position Summary

ICT is seeking compassionate and organized Volunteer Case Managers to support individuals impacted by spiritual abuse, trauma, and post-traumatic stress. Volunteers will help coordinate care, provide guidance, and connect survivors with appropriate support services in a safe, respectful, and trauma-informed manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial intake conversations and gather client needs
• Provide ongoing case follow-up and support
• Connect clients with counseling, pastoral care, and community resources
• Maintain confidential case notes and documentation
• Support referral coordination for retreats, support groups, and recovery programs
• Communicate professionally and empathetically with survivors
• Work with ICT leadership and counseling partners as needed

Qualifications

• Background in social work, counseling, psychology, ministry, nursing, or related helping fields (preferred)
• Understanding of trauma, PTSD, and spiritual abuse (training accepted)
• Strong listening, communication, and organizational skills
• Commitment to confidentiality and ethical boundaries
• Compassionate, non-judgmental, and faith-sensitive approach
• Ability to work independently and virtually

Preferred

• Experience in case management, crisis support, or victim advocacy
• Trauma-informed care training
• Bilingual skills a plus
