Volunteering at Lightways can be a deeply rewarding experience, whether you work directly with patients and their families or provide support behind the scenes. As a Lightways volunteer, you will join a dedicated and caring group of extraordinary individuals.

Volunteers at Lightways come from diverse backgrounds, including students, retirees, homemakers, professionals, and service groups. While each volunteer has their own reasons for getting involved, all share a commitment to providing unwavering support with the uplifting power of light.

Direct care volunteers offer services directly to patients and families, visiting them in their private residences, nursing homes, or at the Hospice Inpatient Unit. These services include:

Indirect care volunteers play a vital role in supporting Lightways through special projects and community events. Some of the services they provide include:
