What Is Hospice?
When people hear the word hospice, they often think of sadness, pain, and loss. While those feelings can certainly be present, hospice is also a time filled with love, reflection, and deep human connection.
Hospice care honors life’s final transition with dignity and comfort. Much like birth marks our arrival, hospice supports our peaceful departure. It’s about helping patients and families live fully and meaningfully, right up to the very end.
Our hospice team—nurses, social workers, chaplains, and volunteers—walk alongside patients and their families, providing care for the body, mind, and spirit. Together, we aim to make this season one of grace, warmth, and even unexpected joy.
What Can Volunteers Do?
