Board of Directors - member

Missions on Wheels serves community non-profits, disaster response teams, and local government organizations by providing sleeping and shower accommodations to volunteers and agencies responding to disasters.

Below are some of the basic responsibilities expected of board members.

1. Attend monthly board meetings and important related events/meetings.
2. Make a serious commitment to participate actively in organizational work.
3. Stay informed about business matters, prepare themselves well for meetings, and review and comment on minutes and reports.
4. Foster relationships with other board members and cultivate a collegial working environment that promotes the organization's advancement.
5. Is an active participant in the board’s annual evaluation and planning efforts.
6. Participate in fundraising for the organization.
7. Volunteer for and willingly accept assignments and complete them thoroughly and on time.
