Volunteer Shifts (flexibility is available)
Tuesday - Friday: 10 am-2 pm & 2 pm-6 pm
Saturday: 9 am-1 pm & 1:00 to 3:00 & 3:00 to 5:00
Cashier Roles & Responsibilities
- Ring up sales
- Assist with customer & donor questions as needed
- All customer transactions use our program called Thrift Cart. Items are scanned and sold tags are printed.
- Ability to explain ReStore policies and procedures
Desired Skills & Experience
- Age 18+
- Cheerful and upbeat customer service skills
- Register experience preferred, but not required
Training & Resources provided
- 1 hour orientation
- 2-4 hour training with ReStore staff member or experienced volunteer
- To become comfortable with register operations, it is suggested to volunteering more than once a month
- Staff support is always available to assist with questions
