    Description

    Cashier

    Volunteer Shifts (flexibility is available)

    Tuesday - Friday: 10 am-2 pm & 2 pm-6 pm

    Saturday: 9 am-1 pm & 1:00 to 3:00 & 3:00 to 5:00

    Cashier Roles & Responsibilities

    • Ring up sales
    • Assist with customer & donor questions as needed
    • All customer transactions use our program called Thrift Cart. Items are scanned and sold tags are printed.
    • Ability to explain ReStore policies and procedures

    Desired Skills & Experience

    • Age 18+
    • Cheerful and upbeat customer service skills
    • Register experience preferred, but not required

    Training & Resources provided

    • 1 hour orientation
    • 2-4 hour training with ReStore staff member or experienced volunteer
    • To become comfortable with register operations, it is suggested to volunteering more than once a month
    • Staff support is always available to assist with questions
