Would you like to make an impact in someone's life? Three Oaks Hospice is currently looking for compassionate people to help make a difference in our indivisiual's lives. Being a volunteer is very rewarding.
Companion visitors can bring their talents and compassions to our indidivuals by participating in various activities as:
- Reminiscencing/Listening to indidivuals share their life journey
- Reading to patients
- Singing to patients
- Engaging with patient interests/hobbies
- Clerical/Office Tasks
- Office Mailings
- Patient weekly Tuck-Ins
- General Phone Calls
- Memorial Service for families of patients we have lost
- Pet Therapy
- Massage Therapy
- Hairstylists
- Musicians
- Outreach/Fundraising Support
Three Oaks Hospice covers the following counties:
- Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Lawrence, Mercer, Washington, Westmoreland
Private Group Details:
- Group Size Range: 1 - 50+
- Event can be held at a volunteer group location (e.g. office, park)
- No Donation
