Medical Unit/Patient Support Volunteer

Volunteers in these roles work directly with patients, families, and staff across multiple hospital units, offering comfort, connection, and support throughout the patient experience. Support may include conversation, games, entertainment, or simply being present for someone who may be struggling.

We offer short-term (6 months) and long-term placements across a wide range of units, including Intensive Care, Acute Care, Trauma, Emergency, Oncology, Cardiac, Neuro, Orthopedic, and more.
