    Description

    Medical Unit/Patient Support Volunteer

    Volunteers in these roles work directly with patients, families, and staff across multiple hospital units, offering comfort, connection, and support throughout the patient experience. Support may include conversation, games, entertainment, or simply being present for someone who may be struggling.

    These opportunities are ideal for individuals seeking a meaningful way to serve their community while finding personal fulfillment through helping others.

    We offer short-term (6 months) and long-term placements across a wide range of units, including Intensive Care, Acute Care, Trauma, Emergency, Oncology, Cardiac, Neuro, Orthopedic, and more. Whether you’re interested in working with babies, children, teens, or adults, there is likely a program that fits your passion.
