Volunteer Responsibilities

• Companionship Visits: Spend time with patients through conversation, reading, music, or quiet presence.
• Family Support: Offer respite to caregivers and lend a listening ear.
• Administrative Help: Assist with office tasks, mailings, or event planning.
• Bereavement Support: Help with follow-up calls or memorial services.
• Creative Contributions: Share talents like music, art, or pet therapy.

Qualifications

• A compassionate heart and a desire to serve
• Good listening and communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect boundaries
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Completion of hospice volunteer training (provided by us)
• Background check and health screening may be required
