About Invisible Warriors
Invisible Warriors is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women veterans beyond the uniform. We create community, support, and connection for women who have served. We believe that every woman veteran has incredible strength and potential, and we're here to help each other thrive in civilian life.
Position Description
We're seeking passionate individuals to assist us in raising awareness with both the state government and the Department of Veterans Affairs. This unpaid volunteer role offers a unique chance to experience how positive change happens at the government level. It's an ideal opportunity for those interested in public service, veterans' affairs, or government relations.
While this is an unpaid position, the experience and skills you'll gain are invaluable. Moreover, we collaborate with the President's Volunteer Service Award program. By dedicating your time and effort, you may earn recognition in the form of certificates, plaques, or other awards.
This volunteer role will provide you with:
- Hands-on experience in advocacy and government relations
- The opportunity to make a meaningful impact on veterans' lives
- Valuable additions to college applications and future resumes
- Potential recognition through the President's Volunteer Service Award program
We believe that you have the power to create significant change. If you're ready to take on this challenge and be part of something truly impactful, we'd love to have you join our team.
