Every day, hundreds of guests visit Broad Street Love to check their mail—often their most vital link to benefits, identification, housing, healthcare, and loved ones. More than 4,000 people use BSL as their mailing address, making it one of the most essential services we offer. In fact, this single address has the most registered voters in Pennsylvania—a powerful reminder of how a stable address supports belonging, access, and dignity.
What you’ll do:
As a Mail Service Volunteer, you’ll help make this service run smoothly and compassionately. Depending on the day’s needs, you may:
Through your presence and care, you’ll help ensure this busy service remains welcoming, organized, and trauma-informed.

Prior mail volunteer experience is helpful, but not required
