Slack Volunteer

Role Summary

Serve as the teacher and support for Slack - via app and its website. Be willing to record instructional video(s) and work with individuals to correctly use Slack.

Time Involved: 3-4 hours/month including the 1-hour monthly committee meeting held via Zoom.

Key Responsibilities

• Managed and organized Slack channels for effective team communication.
• Responded to volunteer questions and directed them to appropriate resources.
• Facilitated communication between departments and remote volunteers.
• Shared announcements, meeting reminders, and project updates.
• Onboarded new volunteers by providing Slack access and guidance on communication channels.
• Coordinated tasks and followed up on project progress using Slack.
