Role Summary
Serve as the teacher and support for Slack - via app and its website. Be willing to record instructional video(s) and work with individuals to correctly use Slack.
Time Involved: 3-4 hours/month including the 1-hour monthly committee meeting held via Zoom.
Key Responsibilities
- Managed and organized Slack channels for effective team communication.
- Responded to volunteer questions and directed them to appropriate resources.
- Facilitated communication between departments and remote volunteers.
- Shared announcements, meeting reminders, and project updates.
- Onboarded new volunteers by providing Slack access and guidance on communication channels.
- Coordinated tasks and followed up on project progress using Slack.
