Gala Volunteer- Support Our Health & Wellness Mission

Enlightened Florida is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting healthy living initiatives in our community. We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers to support our upcoming gala event. This special evening brings together community members, supporters, and future leaders to advance health and wellness initiatives across our community.

As a volunteer, you’ll play an important role in creating a welcoming, organized, and impactful experience for our guests.

Volunteer Roles Available

Auction / Raffle Team

Support one of the most interactive parts of the evening!

• Set up and manage auction displays
• Assist guests with bidding and raffle participation
• Answer questions and encourage engagement
• Help with auction closing and item distribution

Table Hosts / Food Service Team

Help ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for guests.

• Prepare tables and place settings
• Assist with water service and food distribution
• Monitor guest needs during dinner
• Support dessert setup and light cleanup

Event Support Team (Guest Experience)

Be the welcoming face of the event and help everything run smoothly.

• Greet and direct guests during arrival and transitions
• Assist guests to seating and support event flow
• Provide speaker and program support
• Assist with guest needs and transitions throughout the evening

Event Timing

• Volunteers should be available from 5:30 PM – 10:30 PM
• Roles may include light setup and post-event cleanup

• Friendly, dependable, and team-oriented individuals
• Comfortable interacting with guests in a professional setting
• Willingness to be flexible and assist where needed

Additional Information

All volunteers may be asked to assist with light cleanup and event breakdown at the end of the evening.

Great for students interested in healthcare or community service- community service hours are available and will be verified.

This is a black and gold themed formal event. Volunteer attire should be all black and neat, polished, and professional.

• All black attire (dress, blouse and slacks, or similar)
• Black shoes (comfortable for standing and walking)
• Overall appearance should be clean, modest, and event-appropriate
