Role Overview

We are building a global, holistic community marketplace that brings people together through wellness, learning, community, and conscious experiences. As we prepare for our MVP launch, we are seeking a highly capable Operations Manager to design, build, and run the operational foundation of the platform.

The Operations Manager is the central owner of marketplace operations, responsible for the systems, workflows, and standards that keep the platform stable, trusted, and running smoothly. This role owns core operations systems, CRM infrastructure, and the full event and organizer lifecycle—from onboarding and publishing through delivery, issue resolution, and post-event follow-up.

This role ensures organizers move smoothly and reliably through the platform while maintaining clear operational standards, quality control, and consistency across the marketplace. The Operations Manager is responsible for protecting marketplace health by identifying friction points, resolving issues and edge cases, coordinating escalations across teams, and ensuring problems are addressed quickly and thoughtfully before they impact the broader community.

At the MVP stage, this role is both builder and operator—establishing workflows, documenting lightweight processes, tracking operational health signals, and improving systems in real time. The Operations Manager acts as the connective tissue between organizers, internal teams, and leadership, translating day-to-day platform reality into clarity, stability, and readiness to scale.

This role is mission-critical to the success of our MVP launch and early growth. Success in this position directly impacts platform stability, organizer confidence, community trust, and the long-term health of the marketplace.

What You Will Own

You will have clear ownership over:

• The end-to-end organizer and event lifecycle, from onboarding to post-event completion
• Core operations systems and CRM, including data accuracy and workflow integrity
• Marketplace operational standards and quality control
• Issue resolution, edge cases, and escalation pathways
• Launch readiness and go-live coordination
• Operational visibility and performance signals

You are the person who ensures nothing falls through the cracks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and continuously improve operational workflows that support organizers, events, and marketplace integrity
• Own and manage CRM systems, ensuring clean data, clear stages, and reliable handoffs
• Define and uphold organizer readiness standards, event publishing requirements, and quality checks
• Ensure organizers move smoothly through onboarding, approval, publishing, delivery, and follow-up
• Identify friction points, bottlenecks, and breakdowns in the system and resolve them proactively
• Serve as the primary owner of issue resolution, including edge cases, organizer questions, and operational problems
• Coordinate escalations across teams (Product, Tech, Support, Leadership) when needed
• Track operational health signals such as onboarding completion, event readiness, turnaround times, and recurring issues
• Maintain lightweight documentation of workflows and SOPs as systems evolve
• Coordinate MVP launch readiness, including operational checklists and go-live validation V2
• Partner closely with leadership to surface risks, insights, and opportunities for improvement

Experience & Skills

• Experience in operations, marketplace operations, platform operations, or systems management
• Hands-on experience with CRM tools and workflow design
• Comfort working in MVP or early-stage environments
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to document processes simply and clearly
• High integrity, reliability, and ownership mindset

Experience in marketplaces, events, platforms, or community-based products is a strong plus.
