Volunteer Opportunity: Walk & Visit Companion
Location: Northaven II Assisted Living, NE 112th St, Seattle, WA 98125
Are you someone who enjoys gentle walks and meaningful conversations? We’re seeking a compassionate volunteer to spend time with a delightful resident at Northaven II who experiences some memory loss but is very pleasant and enjoys being outdoors.
About the Participant:
- Friendly and engaging
- Loves walking and being outside
- Needs a companion due to memory-related safety concerns
Volunteer Role:
- Visit regularly (schedule flexible)
- Walk with the participant outdoors on Northaven property
- Offer companionship and a calming presence
Ideal Volunteer:
- Patient and kind
- Enjoys spending time with older adults
- Comfortable supporting someone with mild memory loss
This is a beautiful opportunity to brighten someone’s day while enjoying fresh air and gentle movement. Training and support provided.
