    Volunteer Opportunity: Walk & Visit Companion

    Location: Northaven II Assisted Living, NE 112th St, Seattle, WA 98125

    Are you someone who enjoys gentle walks and meaningful conversations? We’re seeking a compassionate volunteer to spend time with a delightful resident at Northaven II who experiences some memory loss but is very pleasant and enjoys being outdoors.

    About the Participant:

    • Friendly and engaging
    • Loves walking and being outside
    • Needs a companion due to memory-related safety concerns

    Volunteer Role:

    • Visit regularly (schedule flexible)
    • Walk with the participant outdoors on Northaven property
    • Offer companionship and a calming presence

    Ideal Volunteer:

    • Patient and kind
    • Enjoys spending time with older adults
    • Comfortable supporting someone with mild memory loss

    This is a beautiful opportunity to brighten someone’s day while enjoying fresh air and gentle movement. Training and support provided.
