About Community Cycles of California
Community Cycles of California is a nonprofit social enterprise that uses bicycles as a tool for economic opportunity, mobility, and dignity. We operate a bicycle service center and retail shop that doubles as a workforce development classroom, where participants gain transferable job skills while refurbishing donated bikes. Revenue from our social enterprise supports community programs, including free and low-cost bikes, safety repairs, and access to essential transportation for unhoused and low-income neighbors.
At our core, we believe everyone deserves access to mobility, meaningful work, and a supportive community—and we’re looking for a volunteer who resonates with that mission and wants to help us tell our story more clearly online.
About the Volunteer Role
We are seeking a volunteer to help redesign and update our existing website, which is built on the Wix platform. Our goal is to create an intuitive, mobile-friendly, and search-optimized website so community members, clients, donors, and partners can more easily find information about our services and programs.
