🌟 Become a Changemaker. Teach. Inspire. Empower. 🌟
If you are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of neuro diverse young adults, volunteering with Inclusive World as a Class Teacher can be one of the most rewarding experiences you will ever have.
Inclusive World is now recruiting Volunteer Adult Class Teachers for the 2026–2027 academic year (Sept 2026 – May 2027).
At Inclusive World, we are a systems and process-driven organization focused on building independence, confidence, communication, vocational, and life skills for our members through structured and engaging learning experiences.
As a Volunteer Class Teacher, you will:
✅ Lead a small class of 5–7 students
✅ Work alongside dedicated 1:1 teen volunteer buddies who support learning during class
✅ Teach from a structured curriculum over a 24–26 week academic program
✅ Conduct a weekly 90-minute weekend class
✅ Support student growth through beginning, mid-year, and end-of-year progress evaluations
✅ Commit approximately 3–5 hours per week, including teaching and preparation time
📘 Curriculum support is available!
For most classes, a foundational curriculum already exists. Teachers are not expected to create programs from scratch, but rather bring the curriculum to life by:
✨ Personalizing examples and activities
✨ Adapting pacing to learner needs
✨ Adding creativity, engagement, and real-world relevance
✨ Supporting an inclusive and interactive classroom experience
🌱 We strongly support our volunteers!
Inclusive World uses person-centered practices and tools in all our programs. We provide:
✨ Training opportunities
✨ Shadowing support
✨ Structured curriculum guidance
✨ A collaborative volunteer and parent community
📚 Volunteer Teacher Openings for 2026–2027:
