π Become a Changemaker. Teach. Inspire. Empower. π
If you are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of neuro diverse young adults, volunteering with Inclusive World as a Class Teacher can be one of the most rewarding experiences you will ever have.
Inclusive World is now recruiting Volunteer Adult Class Teachers for the 2026β2027 academic year (Sept 2026 β May 2027).
At Inclusive World, we are a systems and process-driven organization focused on building independence, confidence, communication, vocational, and life skills for our members through structured and engaging learning experiences.
As a Volunteer Class Teacher, you will:
β Lead a small class of 5β7 students
β Work alongside dedicated 1:1 teen volunteer buddies who support learning during class
β Teach from a structured curriculum over a 24β26 week academic program
β Conduct a weekly 90-minute weekend class
β Support student growth through beginning, mid-year, and end-of-year progress evaluations
β Commit approximately 3β5 hours per week, including teaching and preparation time
π Curriculum support is available!
For most classes, a foundational curriculum already exists. Teachers are not expected to create programs from scratch, but rather bring the curriculum to life by:
β¨ Personalizing examples and activities
β¨ Adapting pacing to learner needs
β¨ Adding creativity, engagement, and real-world relevance
β¨ Supporting an inclusive and interactive classroom experience
π± We strongly support our volunteers!
Inclusive World uses person-centered practices and tools in all our programs. We provide:
β¨ Training opportunities
β¨ Shadowing support
β¨ Structured curriculum guidance
β¨ A collaborative volunteer and parent community
