TB testing, drug screening and proof of COVID vaccine are required prior to volunteering. Pets must have current record of obedience training and shot records; pet therapy certification is preferred but not required.
Descrição
Pet companionship can benefit hospice patients in a variety of ways -- lower stress, improved mood and increased joy! If you have a trained pet who is gentle, friendly and loves people (with a history of visiting with the elderly, if possible), we would love to work with you! Pets must have up-to-date shot records and obedience training; pet therapy certification is preferred. Solace Hospice Care clients live in private homes, skilled nursing facilities and assisted living facilities in Lake Saint Louis, Missouri. We look forward to collaborating with you!
