We are working to transform a long-vacant historic property into a family stabilization campus for court-involved parents. The vision includes supervised visitation space, short-term stabilization housing, private resident rooms, workforce development space, offices, and eventually long-term housing.
We are especially interested in someone who can help us think through:
- phased redevelopment options
- what buildings should be saved versus demolished
- emergency shelter versus apartment-style layouts
- reuse of older masonry buildings
- cost-effective approaches for preserving historic character
- opportunities for future additions or new construction
Responsibilities
- Review available property photos, measurements, and site information
- Provide rough floor plan concepts
- Help identify the most practical uses for each building
- Help identify major code, accessibility, and design concerns
- Advise on phased redevelopment options
- Assist in identifying historic preservation opportunities and potential funding strategies
Desired Qualifications
