TB testing, drug screening and proof of COVID vaccine are required prior to volunteering. Pets must have current record of obedience training and shot records; pet therapy certification is preferred but not required.
Descrição
Pet companionship can benefit hospice patients in a variety of ways -- lower stress, improved mood and increased joy! If you have a trained pet who is gentle, friendly and loves people (with a history of visiting with the elderly, if possible), we would love to work with you! Pets must have up-to-date shot records and obedience training; pet therapy certification is preferred. Solace Hospice Care clients live in skilled nursing communities and private homes in Ballwin, Missouri. We look forward to collaborating with you!
