Tabula Rasa Domestic Violence, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and creative UX/UI Designer to help transform how survivors, supporters, and stakeholders engage with our digital platforms. As a mission-driven nonprofit serving domestic violence survivors, we understand the power of accessible, user-centered design in building trust, providing support, and driving impact. This is an opportunity to use your design skills to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Design intuitive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces across our website, mobile, and digital applications.

    • Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to gather insights from survivors, volunteers, and staff.

    • Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and visual mockups for new and existing digital tools.

    • Collaborate with developers, communications, and program staff to ensure seamless design-to-development handoff.

    • Uphold trauma-informed design principles that reflect safety, empathy, and empowerment.

    • Maintain consistency with the organization’s branding and style guidelines.

    • Iterate on designs based on user feedback, analytics, and evolving organizational needs.

    Qualifications:
    • Demonstrated experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing past work.

    • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar platforms.

    • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices.

    • Experience conducting user research and usability testing.

    • Ability to design with compassion, particularly for trauma-impacted populations.

    • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally with developers and content creators.

    • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized.

    • Passion for social justice and the mission of supporting domestic violence survivors.
