Tabula Rasa Domestic Violence, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and creative UX/UI Designer to help transform how survivors, supporters, and stakeholders engage with our digital platforms. As a mission-driven nonprofit serving domestic violence survivors, we understand the power of accessible, user-centered design in building trust, providing support, and driving impact. Key Responsibilities:Design intuitive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces across our website, mobile, and digital applications.
Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to gather insights from survivors, volunteers, and staff.
Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and visual mockups for new and existing digital tools.
Collaborate with developers, communications, and program staff to ensure seamless design-to-development handoff.
Uphold trauma-informed design principles that reflect safety, empathy, and empowerment.
Maintain consistency with the organization’s branding and style guidelines.
Iterate on designs based on user feedback, analytics, and evolving organizational needs.
Demonstrated experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing past work.
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar platforms.
Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
Ability to design with compassion, particularly for trauma-impacted populations.
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally with developers and content creators.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized.
