City of Jersey City - Office of Diversity and Inclusion

One of the five offices which make up the Resident Response Center, the Office of Diversity & Inclusion's mission is to empower, integrate, and celebrate the immigrant community of Jersey City. This office promotes the success of the immigrant community by ensuring and enhancing access to City services and guiding immigrants through the citizenship application process from beginning to end. We offer free access to immigration information, assistance with filling out forms, provide the resources necessary to prepare for the citizenship exam and interview, and educate individuals on how to lead a happy and healthy life in Jersey City.Jersey City is ranked as the second most diverse city in America, and truly represents a melting pot of nations, ethnicities, and cultural traditions. The Office of Diversity & Inclusion recognizes and celebrates the culture and heritage of the immigrant community and their distinct contributions to this city through special events that include flag raising ceremonies, cultural festivals, and naturalization ceremonies.
